" 1. The Althing is made of one or more representatives from each state, who are elected by the population thereof for a two month term.
2. States with a 1-4 population may elect one Althinger, states with a population of 5-7 two, 8-10 three, with the number accorded to any state with a larger population to be decided by the Althing should the need arise.
3. The Althing may pass any law so long as it is constitutional, and does not involve taxes, charters, or treaties. It may, however, issue statements regarding the areas it may not legislate.
4. The Althing shall try and sentence all criminals who choose not to be tried by the Moot.
5. The Althing may declare war.
6. The Althing may not affect state government. "

The Althing is the elected Parliament of Arminy. It makes the majority of the laws with the exception of those handled by the Witen, and is composed of at least one representative from every state, populations being proportionately represented.
